We understand that reaching out for support can be difficult, but it's important to recognise that you deserve help and assistance. Whether you're currently in the licensed hospitality industry or have been in the past, here are a list of qualified organisations who can provide you with the support you deserve.
Breathing Space

Sometimes our thoughts and feelings overwhelm us to the point where it becomes difficult to cope with everyday life. You are not alone and talking about how you feel is a positive first step in getting help.
When you phone Breathing Space, your call will be answered by one of their specialist advisors. They come from a range of mental health, counselling and social work backgrounds.
They understand that you might feel nervous about picking up the phone and unsure about what to expect. Their advisors appreciate this and will give you the time, whether you want to talk or not.
The service is open when other support such as family, friends, or GPs may be unavailable. You can speak about what's on your mind or ask about helpful resources in your area.

Hospitality Health
A Scottish charity, formed in August of 2018 to support staff in the amazing world of Hospitality. It is clear that for several years the Industry has become more stressful for an extremely hard working management and staff. The trustees decided it was time to act and help those who are in need of support, by providing wellbeing advice and signposting organisations that can help. We hope we can make a difference, even to a few individuals.
Purpose
Hospitality Health was formed to support the wellbeing of staff and students in the Hospitality Industry.
Mission:
To provide support to individuals within the Hospitality Industry in areas of mental health, addiction and well being.
Our Vision:
Is to join the areas of support through a one stop shop, 2 clicks, allowing individuals to improve and maintain better health.
Values:
Using our knowledge, skills and understanding, we will support members of the Hospitality Industry in becoming more healthy.
